Dear Sword-fans I am seriously thinking about adding the Paul Chen Practical Ninjato sword to my collection I hear a lot of good things about and that it is Razor Sharp ![:P](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) I was also wondering if there are any good ninjato sword back straps, so you can carry youre sword on youre back. I already have a double wrap medieval sword belt wich fits easy most of my swords but it would not suit a ninjato to carry i stumble on this tactical scabbard but i am not sure if the blade would fit in perfectly:p I would wanna play kinda a ninja vs bottle in my yard héhé I will post the link here of the tactica scabbard: www.swordsofmight.com/bladedaywa ... bbard.aspx now this scabbard normally is fit for the blade of the day walker and here are the blade measure's: Overall Length: 35-3/8" Blade Length: 27-1/8" Blade Thickness: 3/16" Here are the blade measure's of the paul chen practical ninjato: Measurements / Specifications Blade lengt:a lil bit longer than 22 inch grip lengt:a lil bit over the 10 inch i would go for the black version of it Here is the link of the website: www.oriental-weaponry.co.uk/acat ... ml#aHW2268 I know that the scabbard is fit for a blade lengt for a 27 inch but still, would it be a good tactical scabbard so you can wear it on youre back or should i look for better one's? Since this is kinda the only one i find. thank you very much for youre time Kind Regards Don Boogie

if nothing else u could detatch the scabbard from the shoulder rig and then attatch the scabbard the ninjato comes with. If your somewhat of a handy man that is.

Those daywalker swords have metal scabbards lat time I saw one, which would be very bad for your ninjato.

theres stuff out there, just keep in mind its almost impossible to draw a sword from over the back. If you noticed in the movies, you never see them actually draw it, it shows them grab it, then the next scene its already cleared the scabbard

Ah chrisperoni, but i do believe that TrueSwords only ships in the USA,they dont ship to Europe, i already contacted them about ordering a sword there but they dont ship to Europe ![:)](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) also, that scabbard seems to be for a more curved blade, the ninjato of paul chen (practical) is straight,i dont think it would fit in that scabbard?

It would fit- it's been tried before. True Swords has a sister company that ships for those outside of USA- try these guys: store.swordcompany.com/sdlxbkc.html(If TrueSwords has something on their site but you can't find it on Swordcompany you just give swordcompany the truswords sku# and they add it to their site so you can order it.) I found the other guys I was thinking of- www.ravenswoodleather.net/shop/s ... 1&parent=4 They have a few choices and I bet would make something custom for you too.
