Ant,
from the above posts, it seems they represent Weapon Edge (India) so probably not made in China but what their current location is sure beats me. The fact that their website is a complete copy of Stromlo Swords and hasn't been reported by them as such makes me wonder if they are not a reboot of that business.
I guess we'll have to wait for someone to take one for the team and give us feedback.

I emailed WEI telling them about the sight and all of the broken links and I noticed today all the links are fixed along with a few improvements on the site, thought they never answered my email, so maybe it was a planned update. I've really been tempted to make a purchase thru the site, which I now believe is in India, but I just don't seem to be able to commit....I keep thinking about a purchase I made from Deepeeka.......still have THAT piece of junk iron. BTW I was given an old blade that one of my nephews inherited....it seems to be an old Baltimore K & S blade. Man this is a real hunk of iron...I put an edge on it, it seems to have never had one, and I believe I could cut anything with it but other iron, but I've chopped up everything else around the yard...I love this thing...and it was free! Oh! and has anyone checked out this WE dealer

Dave Kelly has ordered from them and will give us useful facts in the future so stick around. What sword are you interested in? Maybe it has been reviewed by other members of the forum. |
