Historyrelics.com I am in no way affiliated or connected with Historyrelics.com. I found this in my email this morning, and was about to delete it, but decided to have a look. Was pleasantly surprised to see Weaponedge style swords sold for less than half the price of other online retailers!

That's a really nice find, Thomas, and they've got some pretty tempting prices.

Hmm, really nice selection for less money, wondering if they're reliable for shipping and if they really have 1050 steel on their swords.
The fact that their swords are cheaper and they have Sam Browne belts with sword frogs optional is pretty awesome....

That`s because it`s a 19th-early 20th C. military type sword, not a medieval or Japanese type. Military sword collectors are quite thin on the ground here. I do like the Imperial Dragoon Shashka with the single bow knuckle guard.

Sweet. Weaponedge is one of those makers I try to keep my eye on, since they have a couple of swords I'd like to get eventually.

Thanks for joining the conversation. I understand that you may not be a retail contract distributor of Weaponedge. But if those swords aren't supplied by Weaponedge, and if your display photos aren't right from the Weaponedge site, I don't think without an explanation I'd consider doing business with you.
An explanation would be most useful.

Hi... All products of History Relics are of www.weaponedgeindia.com , Because they are best manufacturer and there quality is superb and I have a contract with them. Because WEAPONEDGEINDIA contacted me and they were saying that all online sellers of swords all around the world cost soo high for a reenactment sword so, we decided to launch a online shop of arms at low price. So, I think this explanation is sufficient for all re-enactors and collectors of swords. Thanks, HISTORY RELICS

Hii..
All History Relics products are of Weapon Edge India not of Weapon Edge because when I contacted Weapon Edge India they given a prompt and confidential response to me and I appreciate there commitment as they had completed my order in just 15 days without any delay with a superb quality. there prices are very good and they provide good service in all manners.
so, in last i will say that weaponedgeindia is not a new URL of weapon edge
Regards, HISTORY RELICS

Geez...I wish I knew about them...my 1803 infantry officer sword cost me a LOT more than what they are listed for there.

Also own the 1803, and reviewed it.
All WE swords have the same issues regarding harmonics and taper. The 1803 was developed along the same lines as the 1796 Cav Saber. You experienced the problem with your CS 1796; before and after you had it reground. Same situation here.
Some of us here have been trying to do business with WeaponEdge and their retail network for 4 or more years. We have long memories of a rather disfunctional logistics network and an inability to communicate with consumers. I applaud the sudden upturn in the companys fortunes, and look forward to its continuence. But, from the standpoint of outside the loop consumers this is all new and still suspect.
Discribing WeaponEdge products with hyperbole is neither factual or appreciated. In a market environment where modern edged weapons is underepresented Weaponedge produces fairly well executed aproximations of classic swords. I have purchased 17 of the 65 or so weapons they have cataloged in the past four years and not one of them has equalled the harmonics of the weapon they represent.
I continue to purchase WeaponEdge products in cases where their representation affords me a chance to have a replica close by of weapons I cannot consider reasonable or possible to acquire because of the cost point of the originals. I am greatful to have these replicas. But please don't characterize them as being any more than they are: I also collect original weapons and WEs aren't in the same class.

Hello all! Has anyone found an explanation from history relics as to who they are or who they represent? It sounds to me like someone from out of country, but they make it impossible to trust someone who uses other peoples pic's and props to sell replica's probably made in Long Quan. I may be mistaken....but it just strikes me that way! I know some good blades are made in China but I also see a few ripped off pic's on Ebay from other vendors who don't make their own and I for one wouldn't take a chance on any of them.
