Also would this swords very long blade (37") and its' long tsuka (16") make it an odachi.
Since the blade length is greater than three shaku (90.9cm) I think it qualifies as an odachi.

Hi Sol I recently bought a katana from zhang, i will do a review on it soon, im going to give it the MBT "mudguts black treatment", im very impressed with zhi sword, zhang is a pleasure to deal with, i got a model which was equal spec to a cold steel warrior or Cheness Mokko but worked out to be half the price, very tight fitting and rearly good finish about the same quality as a Paul Chen Practical Plus Katana, after the MBT im going to sell it for about £120 in the UK and then order a folded blade from zhang or fromhttp://stores.ebay.com/JWHOTSTEELFORGE_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfclZ3QQfsubZ0QQftidZ2QQtZkm or i may go for a Cheness SGC not sure yet too much choice!!!!!!

Thats good news mudguts.
I like his swords. He has many options that you don't always see being offered (especially in this price range). Lots of different fittings, blade types, ito color and type etc.
The prices look very reasonable too.
Looking forward to the review.
