Hey all, in my most recent search, I came across this sword. www.topicool.com/product.php?pid=594Iv'e been looking for a Tachi style sword for a while and this one looks pretty good. When you do find these style swords on the internet, they are either so expensive or just total junk, with not much in between! Does anyone know anything about Topicool products? I belive this sword is a Chris Zhou sword, I don't know if that means anything or not but I think he has something to do with Musashi Swords. Thanks in advance.

Hi 88mm,
This is not a Chirs Zhou Musashi Sword although they do carry some Musashi Swords. From the photos it looks to be a Ryumon brand, the same makers of Masahiro I think. I am sure someone will know.

I'm glad Zinje chimed in on this one.. It's definitely not a Zhou (info on who Chris Zhou is here). I don't think it is a Ryumon either though. Probably a 'generic', which should raise a few red flags... But if anyone else knows any specifics, feel free to chime in..!

Hi Zinje, I found this link a while ago, thats why I mentioned the Chris Zhou connection. www.japaneseswords4samurai.com/Q-series-samurai-swords-802.htmI mention this because I own three Musashi swords(in the $250-$350 range) and they are of excellent quality. I know nothing of Ryumon, but they guys in the forum who own them rate them well. If the quality is there, I don't really care who makes them! Thanks for the info.

I stand corrected. Paul is right. I did not click the enlarged picture of the packaging it comes in. I will talk to some people and see what I find out. If that is a Zhou Zheng Wu blade... that is one heck of a deal.

That would be really cool Zinje, especially since it's on sale!
