Well we are testing this to see if this will sell. We have for years produced the Blind Warrior Katana fro Last Legend. The cost to make it has gone up and do not know if will sell for $159.00. See link here: www.imperialweapons.com/oriental/swords/blindwarrior.htmlSo we at Generation 2 thought let's try to make it look more like the Blind Fury sword somewhat from the movie. We have used the same blade but have cased it in Bamboo. Here is the link: www.imperialweapons.com/swords/Gen2/Ip-015.htmlAlso here are some pics. Specs: IP-015-2 Blade Lenght: 27" Blade Width: 7/8" Handle: 12 3/4" O.A.: 39 3/4" From Tip of blade to handle top. O.A.: 41 1/4" Entire Sword with Saya. Weight: 1 lbs./ 6 oz Balance Point: 5 1/4" below Handle We may have to increase the price to $149.00. I will see what people here have to say. If it will sell for $149.00 we will keep it. If not we will sell out of what few we have and no longer carry it.

Although I've never seen the movie, for a cane sword, it looks spectacular. The bamboo casing really makes the sword look unique, and I can only assume it looks better in real life.
But to address you're thoughts on the pricing of the sword. You'll probably get the fans of the movie to buy it at $149, but I think you'll have less to worry about the price of the sword rather than the appeal. It is a very reasonably priced sword, but it just simply doesn't appeal to me.

Is the blade Epoxied onto the Tsuka ??
Removeable blades seem to appeal more from an oiling and cleaning perspective ! Even if it costs a little more, I think most prefer these type of packages . Just my 2 cents .

Just my 2 cents . If this one takes off, we might just do that is have the tsuka double pinned onto the tang. Thanks,

I hope it does if we'll get to see that kind of action!
