Two or three weeks ago I received my replacement Wallace sword from DSA
Today I was swinging it around outside and I accidentally hit our wooden deck rail. After that the handle is now loose. I'm sure I would have known about this issue if I used for some steel on steel when I got it but due to how poorly the blade of the other Wallace sword performed, I'm too hesitant to do so.
There doesn't appear to be any gaps between the handle and the guard. It twists around a good 1/8 to 1/4in.
How can I fix this? Do I take the leather off the grip and see if the wood is damaged in some way? I do have some epoxy laying around.
I really don't want to send my sword to DSA again. I'm a little too frustrated to contact them.

first thing i do when i get a new sword is check the wood core, its no necessarily the manufacturers fault if the wood shrunk and cracked, but then again i customize everything so it doesnt bother me....

I waited several days now for DSA to respond to my email and nothing. So, I tried the first thing. I took the leather off the grip than took all the cord off, and I found...nothing. I can't see any cracks...nothing.
Do I have to make a new grip for it then? Maybe drill some holes in it and fill it with epoxy or something?
From what I can tell, the handle seems to have been made to big for the tang, that's why it loosened so easily. They probably just filled it with epoxy or something.
I think I'm done with DSA swords. This is my second sword from them that has had some sort of problem. The first Wallace sword had several problems. This second one has a handle that couldn't withstand one hit against a wooden railing (by accident though, lol); reminded me of my Hanwei Knightly sword that had a loosened handle on it after some vigorous steel on steel.
