I have no idea ... A quick glance shows some very ncie details which might be worth a lot of money.
Maybe others would know how much this is worth. If you don't get much answers here, I am sure the folks at bladeforums will know more than we do.
BTW where did you get that blade ?

I have a feeling this either could be a multi-100 $ custom knife, or a cheaply-made replica of high-end custom knives. It would take a knowledgeable knife collector to spot the difference IMHO. I wonder where the buyer got it before giving it to you.

I'd say $40. These come up all the time if you type in "bowie" on ebay.
-The wood looks like pine or pakka from here...and the messy work above the guard shows it to be a quickly made production piece. The sheath shows evidence of a pakistan-made piece - they look exactly like the timber rattler sheaths - poorly made and shaped
The overall shape and balance indicates that is not a high ender. (Plus remember there usually is a smith's mark or sig)
Still a very nice looking knife - just remember you should not have high expectations that it perform well

it looks better in person but if i cant get 70 or 80 for it ill just keep it. it was just a faster way to get my dojo katana.

Want a good bowie? My employers is good friends with 'Daniel Winkler' He makes VERY nice bowie knives, tomohawks, etc. His stuff is expensive but from first hand experience, it will be the best knife you'll ever own. www.winklerknives.com/ He lives about an hour away from me.
