Hello all If you havethe time, I suggest that you have a look at this thread from bladeforums ; www.bladeforums.com/forums/showt ... -on-page-2) It is a long knife/short sword made with a japanese-styled, Wakizashi-like blade and a more western-styled handle. It might sound a bit off, but the design looks incredibly fluid and very elegant. Have a look !

Yeah, the hamon is subtle yet very, very elegant. It fits perfectly with the line of the blade.

Wow. I'm developing a real weakness for blades about that length, and of course I'm a big fan of fusion, from Korean BBQ tacos to Shelby Cobras to tac-kats, so nothing there seems too off to me!

Fusion blade, much like fusion cusine, is either done really well or really terrible -- mostly terrible. This one is done really well. Does anyone know if it is for sale?

You're welcome Mr. Branson. Stellar-looking blades like this one deserve all due praise Student ; I agree with you, products that mix different styles can be very good, or very meh
