Hello everyone. If you read my last post about the DSA Wallace sword, it had a bunch of issues. Today, I received my replacement sword from DSA; took probably a week to get it.
I'm am glad to say that it is much better than the last one. One thing that I noticed right away when I picked it up was that it handled far better. I can now use it one handed; the other I couldn't quite manage to. I think that the pommel may be a little bigger, so I guess that's why. Everything seems to be in order, nothing appears to be twisted or bent. Only some minor scuffs on the pommel and some marks on the blade near the ricasso (same as the other sword).
I am a little wary of using the sword for steel on steel, since the last one performed poorly. I do notice that the edge is a little thicker, so it may hold up better. I will just dry handle for now and practice some techniques until I'm ready for steel on steel.
All I need now is a back scabbard, a kilt, and some blue face paint
I will definitely save up for another DSA sword; the only problem now is, which one to get??? Or, maybe a custom!

It was part of the reason I bought a beautiful 12th century sword from them, Eyal seems to go above and beyond. I remember you had a good list of problems. Glad to see you worked it out. givajoy+
