As you may have noticed there is a thread with detailed ZNKR iaido techniques:
/index.cgi?board=jsa&action=display&thread=1186601824
Do you want there to be a similar thread but with Jodo techniques? I can make a PDF of a similar book that holds the iaido techniques.
If there is a few people that want it i will make it, otherwise i will not.
Jodo is the style to defend yourself against iaido/kendo with a round staff. Jodo is commonly practiced with a sempai/comrade since you need someone to attack you with a bokuto(bokken) but kata kan be done alone.
If you want me to add this to the forum vote Yes otherwise No.
Jodo is pretty fun, i do not regularly practice it but i have tried it several times and it is impressive techniques to defend yourself against a skillfull iaidoka/kendoka.

I practice Shinto muso ryu Jodo at present (in about half an hour actually) bhosa. While newer students are taught seitei gata as a puliminary I find the classical kata loads more effective. Good idea to post a guide though. I have posted other things about Jodo at various times but have not got much of a response. It is alot harder to defend against an attack by a sword, than it is too attack with one.

Oh this sounds promising!
I have not seen Shinto Muso Ryu Jodo chopchop, but do you have any standardised kata for beginners? Seitei gata now named ZNKR is a good start then Koryu is great to practice later on.
Koryu is alway or to my knowledge always more effective than ex ZNKR techniques, this is also true for Muso Shinden Ryu 3 levels of Koryu iaido.
But if there is a few more yay sayers i will make the PDF when i get my hands on it, it looks to be this coming week.. :-)
But Jodo is not very popular but it is very very good techniques, never forget that Musashi him self got beaten with a Jo and not a katana ;-)
Mwab good to see more Swedish people here :-)

Thanks bhosa that would be great. We're of course too lazy to research the matter ourselves, so if you could wrap it for us and hand it to us on a plate you'll get some appreciative forumites.
