Stylistically the sword pattern is a British Royal Navy officers sword, M1827. But this is a sword with a long service history and was copied by many countries.
The RNR prominent on the hilt ( Royal Naval Reserve ) suggests a 20th Century production date. Can't tell from the pic if this is carbon steel or stainless.

It is possibly an British Pattern 1827 Naval Officer's sword. There may be a Royal Crest on the blade (VR for Victoria, E VII for Edward, GR V for George, ect).
Suggestions: reduce the size of your photos and post more showing the blade and overall sword.

Looks like an early 20th century piece to me. The crown on the hilt shows it post VR as it has a tudor crown and the size and shape of the blade to pre 1930. Probably has GR crest
