sI4k: Bud, you really need to just settle on one thing at a time, what ever happened to the katar you were going to get and then there was about fifty million other swords, if you don't settle on one at a time you will never save up for any ![:)](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I know I know, but I never said _when_ I would/will get them ;D, my priority now is the Valiant armory practical longsword which I will pre order in 7 days. Then after that I don't really know :E.
And regarding the katars, I don't like them as mutch anymore, the reason is that the scissor katars at ancientarms.biz are not sharpened on the "outer" blade which destroys the main function of them. But I will get one eventually ;D.

I like katar and I wish I bought one when Atlanta cuterly or Muesum replica use to carry them in catalog .The last time I saw a really nice one from Himalayan import but it cost a bit out of my reach at the time now that one is long gone too. Actually , I just find out that Himalayan import still list the Katar at$250

Mine was just finished. I chose the cheapest shipping so it'll be over a month til I actually receive it... ![](http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc4/gic102/Garett_Chan_UM_-_e.jpg) I like yours better. You have a nicer wood. They mismatched the scabbard and handle woods on mine. You can see the handle is a darker colour.

Asian Buddhists believed that Praya Nak (king of all Nak) was one of the first follower of Buddha and he protected Buddha from Evil force .You can see Nak status everywhere in the temple .
