Has anybody tried the Cobra series swords/knives from Windlass? I notice they've recently brought out a wakizashi-type blade. Their "Lakonian" looks appealing, too, though IMO it's more of a big dagger than a sword (where does one draw the line between the two, anyway?).

I don't have one yet, but am planning to get the Lakonian.

Far as I know, there aren't any reviews on this site... I could be wrong though. They seem okay to me, personally. Interesting that Kult of Athena still carries a few older Cobra Steel models and doesn't have the waki or jambiya yet, but I imagine that's because the only online carrier I found for them was Atlanta Cutlery-- one of Windlass' major distributors in the US.
So, buy it and review it for us... they're pretty inexpensive so even if they're duffers, you haven't dropped that much coin.

Wakizashi type blade? Where? Nevermind; Jeff answered it for me. Anyways, here's a link to two mini-reviews on the Kindjal of the line: Cobra Steel. As for where to draw the line, I think 13" is about where dagger/big knife cuts off, but that's just me.
