Check this offering from Cold Steel: www.coldsteel.com/trench-hawk.htmlScroll down and see the replacement handle made of polypropylene for just $7. With 2 holes for riveting, nice. That is a great and affordable option to build from. I might get a couple of these myself to make blades for. Seems right up the alley of recent home made weapons I've been seeing posted.

This and the Spike Hawk(basically this with a wooden handle,) are the two Tomahawks I am looking to get. The only downside that I've seen to this one is the very thick handle section around the blade. It hits and scuffs if your cut goes too deep.

Good luck I'm looking forward to see what you come up with. I've had fun with the weapons I've made.
