thought i would post an intro my name is Luke and i live in Victoria Australia, i am a life long sword knife and medieval weapons fan and martial artist. i am also a self taught blade smith (still go a lot to learn) cant really afford to purchase blades so have to try to make my own using what i find online as inspiration so thats a bit about me here is a shot of my collection have added a couple of new creations since this photo was taken(these are all my own work) (except for steel war hammer this was made from a broken rock hammer ) look forward to getting in on the discussions on here Attachments:

Hello. I think you will find this a fun and helpful place. That's a hell of a collection. People who can and do make their own pieces are well received here. I will be looking forward to seeing more of your work. Have fun.

Greetings - that's quite the body of work! What do you use for steel, found or recycled items? I wouldn't mind seeing some closer pics of your work and your shop setup - I'd be doing the same, but I'm in an apartment right now and I don't think the neighbors would appreciate it!

Yeah, me too. And that jagged lightning bolt looking blade near the bottom right? That would leave a wound that would not close, eh?
Welcome and nice body of work- we'd all love to see your workshop/set up!

Bleys - Yes he made them all, he did mention it. Talon- I believe it is a smily face. That is great. Chrisperoni- I also wonder about the lightning bolt looking weapon too.

as said all but steel hammer are my work, dont have shop as as such just a portable forge and rialway line anvil, as for flail yep its a smiley and a nice msg just like the irony of this the wavy snake thing it started out as a spear head and ended up turning into a snake "sculpture" still sharp enough to go into a block with a throw', jagged blade at the bottom edge was my atempt at making my own version of a predator arm weapon, as for steel i mainly use found or recycled steel and odd and ends i pic up all over the place as you can see i methodicaly record my "artwork" kind of have to in a state were you need a licence to own a sword so have pics of all my weapons in close up. these are a few of my creations not in last group shot glad you guys like em and look forward to further conversation

Which is that?
My brother is always going on about getting a trench spike- he feels this is a great close quarters weapon (should the zombies attack, I personally would hope to never let them get close enough to be able to use it, but I see his point)

By golly, the easy way was closed to you so you just hitched yourself up and took the hard way. Kudos to you, and welcome to the board!

if you check out the first pic chris, its just above the spears and next to the push dagger,it looks very simmilar to the us mk1 trench dagger (the one featured in dirty harry the enforcer) a perfect close quarter zombie knife

I want one of those knuckle-duster trench knives so bad I can taste it. I live in CA, so no trench daggers for me(sniffle, sniffle.)
