I have a sword made by him, about the only one in Toledo still making decent swords. Check out my old review of one of his swords on SFI: www.swordforum.com/forums/showth ... l-Fighting

I kinda passed this one by because the of the extended ricasso of the blade and the lack of the traditional supports above the quillons. No quibble with the weight of the sword, as the few Spanish schools I've handled are light and fast, consistent with spanish school doctrine of fighting with the point.
Adtharp has the advantage if he knowns the maker. It is a good price for a rapier, but there is no scabbard...

This is increasingly common with up-market product, unfortunately. I would assume this falls under KOA's "we'll make one for $100" system though.
Looks damn good and the stats suggest this guy knows how to do a real sword, too bad I don't really like cup hilts or I'd be seriously considering it myself.
