Hey all, so I got my new Windlass European sword a couple months ago and have been having a blast swinging it around and showing it off to friends. After a long cutting session a few nights ago of swinging it at dead tree branches and stuff the hilt doesn't feel as solid as it was before. The pommel makes a rattling noise and the cross guard moves around a little bit. Any ideas how to tighten the thing back up to how it used to be ? It is a peened pommel assembly btw. Thanks for any help.

Tapping the peen with a hammer should tighten that up for you.

Brendan from Fable Blades also recommeded using fishing line and glue to tighten up a situation like that. That being said and from experience, I agree with Aaron to do the hammer tap as that usually does the trick.

When this happened on my Iberia line Henry V by Hanwei I just poured super glue into the gap in the cross on the blade and it tightened it right up I cant even see the glue unless I am looking for it specifically.
