Laforcwén - Leopard Queen - is the counterpart to Hréofénd, the blade of Kody Bluewind's apprentice and potential lover, Princess Etna - a leopard. That brief blurb being said, Laforcwén is a Type XVa[?] designed with weight towards the hand slightly, giving the blade potential speed, while the all over shape and size of the blade is designed to be suitable for a woman's hands. A blade of about 28" and a grip 7" long give it adequate size and weight for both the cut and the thrust. Hope ya'll enjoy! And if there are any female sword lovers around, I would love to get your opinions too!

This is a beautiful design. Although I'm not female, it looks like something I'd be happy to wield myself (if the size were adjusted for a tall guy).

Forget the females...that's the kind of sword I want...fits my dimensions too. If that sword were real I may even give up waiting for my Jin Shi jian for it.
It looks to be more of a thrusting sword than cutting what with that wicked point. Is that intentional? Kind of reminds me of a side sword with attitude!

Pretty sweet sword. Definitely something I would be interested in seeing.

Great design.
Never mind gender. That thing would be a beauty at any size you scaled it to, for any sword lover.

Very lovely sword, I agree with the others, as a man I'd carry it proudly.
