That is an excellent article by Phillip Tom. One of the most knowledgeable people in the world when it comes to antique Chinese weapons.
It's wonderful and has some very nice pictures.

Hey, they have one of those imported Japanese blades with Chinese fittings. I've never seen a real one before. Good stuff, this.
