right first off i'm a massive fan of the straight razor,i think it stemmed from me reading those old edge western books when i was younger, and i've studied straight razor fighting quite a bit,HOWEVER as a functional weapon it is severely lacking (fragile blade/weak pivot point/tendency to close on you're fingers/and the lack of a locking mechanism) i've made a few fixed blade knives styled on a razor, but i still wanted one that looked reasonably authentic then i found this beuty the twisted razor by jim baker 4"" blade black g10 scales ,a very beefy pivot pin, and best of all a stop pin (it acts very much like a slip joint pen knife) useless for shaving with ,but its one hell of a slicer it has a 3"" cutting edge and is nearly an inch and a quarter wide at the tip,the build quality is top notch hope you knife nuts like it
