Wow, your bottles sure are knowledgable on internet memes I really need to avoid this backyard cutting thread. Everytime I see you guys out cutting, I get really really jealous, and then my swords on the walls start to plead with me. It's just not fair. I can see it now, in another week, when I do let myself cut, I'll go overboard and hurt myself all over again.

ill come up with a name for it and the draw cut double as well
For the standard double bottle cut, first cut 1 handed, second cut 2 handed i shall call it the "Saito Gaeshi" since its the same cut as Mizu Gaeshi except modified for use with 2 bottles only and going from 1 to 2 handed on the second paralell cut.
For the 1 handed draw cut to 2 handed parallel cut ill call it.... Saito's Battou Gaeshi since its a draw cut Mizu Gaeshi switching from 1 to 2 hands on the parallel cut

maybe ill pick up some bottles today and do a video of both cuts alone so everyone can see them and recognise it right away, rather than sift through long videos looking for the cuts.

the bottom first double cuts are very popular and challenging here is the first actual known recording of a bottom first double bottle cut. it was first done by one of our own members: abghari828: (from the coolest cuts archive) this is the one that started it all. since then there have been numerous variations including bottom first triple ( I did it ) , Saito's is the first I've seen with grip switching though. very cool cut Saito. if you edit it down to just that cut for me I'll post it to the coolest cuts archive. or you could just do a new vid with only that cut being done again. either way get me a vid of that cut and it goes in.

reading over that old video's comments I saw a contention that CSThundercat had done the bottom first double back in 2007 and low and behold the claim was true and correct it is in this video which is now the oldest known bottom first double:
doesn't make any of the others any less cool though.

humorous side to these videos is a must lol, i get bored when the cutteres standing there all rigid with the clint eastwood 1000 mile stare, and then a tumbleweed or 2 or 3 blows by, then they make ONE CUT, and if they flub it they look soooooo angry, and then repat the process again So i always try to cut out the random stuff like me walking around, setting up new bottles. nobody cares abt that crap they just wanna see the cuts and i always add sound effects and spech bubbles for the lulz and bad@$$ factor
