Lorny:
Howdy! This isn't really the place for this type of question, and a moderator will probably move it, but hey, it's all the same to me!
Those good sized ones to my eye look all the world like kukris, not from India per se but from Nepal. Think of the British Gurkhas. As for the little tiny sabers? I have no idea. I don't think I've ever seen inlays in kukri hilts before, though. To my (ignorant) eye, they all look pretty good. HTH.

These are kukris, but I've never kukris with engravings and fittings like these.

My guess is they may be tourist-grade items, and yes, the large ones are kukris. The little sabers are definitely tourist toys, though-- the kind of thing a smith would turn out for cocktail skewers or whatever. Without better pictures and/or more information we can't say much, though...
If you're interested you could try the Himalayan Imports forums, though. They're a supplier of kukris, and as such could probably answer questions about old blades like it looks you have.

Thanks for the information. I am thinking of selling them. Where would be the best place to advertise them? Regards Lorna

Here Seriously, you really could sell them here. If not here, then Himalayan Imports, or MyArmoury, SwordForum International, the Ethnographic Weapons/Vikingsword forum... just check for a "Marketplace" or "Classifieds" sub-forum. I'd try and get a more professional opinion on them before selling though, so you can set a fair price.
