Possibly he means re-enactment blunts or normal but unsharpened knives?
Hanwei makes a re-enactment seax, it's not all that great looking though IMO. I believe you could probably check most websites for Viking re-enactment for recommendations.

I'm probably resurecting the dead here, but... Himalayan imports makes truly hand made SEAX knives, and they can be had for sub $150. All hand forged out of spring steel over a fire and shaped with hand hammering on an anvil, hand tempered, and outstanding quality and toughness. They are more known for thier Khukuris as thier Forte', but their SEAX knife is outstanding. Hope that helps someone
