Today I got a surprise in the form of a friend I haven't seen in about six years dropping by out of the blue. He was here for a while, during which time I explained my small sword collection. A bit later I took him in the back yard and let him loose on a couple of plastic bottles(Only a couple? I had murdered the rest yesterday when I first got my new Munetoshi.) He asked me if there was any thing he should do, and I gave him the same advise Paul Southern gave me when I asked why my Kaze failed to cut simple soda bottles,(of course it was the swords fault...) this being, "Don't worry about strength, use proper alignment and let the sword do the work." He cut it on the first try and a big familiar grin broke out on his face. I explained that I love gallon milk jugs because they are easier to get multiple cuts on. He looked surprised and said. "Really? You can get more than one?" I told him that yes, it's very possible, and he looked disappointed that I didn't have any for him to try on. Maybe next time, dude.

That's awesome. I think I'll always remember the first time I got to cut with a real sword...
