Kult of Athena now offers a Custom Leather Scabbard with Belt Frog or, if you prefer no frog, a Custom Leather Scabbard. According to the descriptions on each, they can be made to fit just about any sword they stock and the leather will be matched to the sword's grip color (well, they will try, anyways), but you can get it in the color of your choice.

Huh, that's not too shabby. I'd kinda miss the H/T's shiny metal fittings (I like shinys, whee), but aside from that I bet this is a nice option for something like, say, an Albion, that doesn't normally come with scabbard. I wonder if they would let you send in a sword to get fitted for a scabbard...

Jeff, I couldn't imagine why they wouldn't, but best to e-mail or call them and ask.

Huh, I'm tempted to grab one for whatever doesn't have a scabbard in my current collection.

Ohhh, sexy. This may solve my needing a rugged rapier scabbard problem.
They ought to think about doing this with wood/fiberglass core scabbards too. One of the main reasons I want something more than the crap scabbards my swords came with is I feel like I'm SOL if I break it.

Looks like a nice scabbard&suspension, and the price is right on. Good find, Vincent!
