Hey Sam. Very nice. I like the rustic hamered finish. Very ye olde.
A Seax is on my list of creations I have in mind.
I see your other blades in the back ground. Would you care to share a stack of close ups of your collection? When you have time of course.

Nice work. +1 for you. What did you use to dye the wood?

Hey Sam. I realy like your logo, it has a runic look that isnt out of place on ye olde swords.

What sort of pegs do you use to hold the panels to the blade?
Extremely pretty work by the way. +1

Thanks guys! The pins were brass with the handle slabs glued on along with the pins. I used regular leather/wood dye for the wood, was supposed to be brown.
Brenno, those are the blades my teacher made. The forged finish is known as hammer finish, and is from the forging process. The forged ridgeline is exceptionally tricky to get to look right.

Sam: how much does a seax like that go for and could you explain what hollow ground is?

Not sure if this is the place to talk about this, but hypothetically if i wanted a monosteel reenactment blade made, along the lines of a viking sword how much would i be looking at?
