Hello SBG! Now that my account is finally activated, I felt like I should join in on the fun. I've always been fascinated with swords, most especially the Japanese katanas and their amazing form and artistic appeal. I haven't actually owned any real battle ready swords until today, when my Bushido Musashi Dragon Strike katana came in the mail in typical Musashi fashion. A nice Musha box with the sword all properly cared for in it's foam containers.
I have to say, I am enjoying this blade so far, just got it coated it up with 3-in-1 oil but I'm too nervous to try and cut anything with it, it seems to be awfully sharp! Doesn't help that it was listed as razor sharp either
Well, enough about the sword! To be plain, I'm a beginner and as far as I know, this is the best site for me to learn more about my hobby and how to properly care for them. This first sword is only the beginning, but I'm sure it will be a fun time handling these beauties.
