I have polished my sword to a mirror shine and its almost a lil too reflective in sunlight lol. how does one achieve that satin look so as not to blind me every time i swing it outside?

Probably the best way is to start over at the 400 or 600 grit paper process. Then proceed through the steps you previously used, except stop when the blade looks the way you want. This should go pretty quickly, but be sure not to round any edges you've previously established. Good luck.

I take art metal and jewelry, and we have these buffing wheels that are specifically made to give a satin finish. They also remove grime and small scratches from most metals. You can get 'em for really cheap.
