I figured I would pull up a chair and get comfy with the search feature here and ask a few questions myself.
I am a fairly new sword enthusiast located in Henderson Nevada.
My main interest "so far" is backyard cutting, with an Atrim Hanwei longsword and Raptor Katana on order from cult of athena I will try both styles and figure out from there which one I prefer the most which is a tough decision for me as I like the aesthetics of both styles of Japanese and European swordsmanship.
I started off with mainly an interest in Chinese sword arts but the allure of Japanese and Euro pulled me in. :lol:

I enjoy the local renaissance fair that takes place here in town but I always work to late to catch the sword play or jousting events so the local clubs continue to elude me so far.

The cutting jian will likely be my next purchase just so I can own one, after a private deal back in Las Vegas is concluded anyway.
