Being only recently aware of Privateer Armoury, I was wondering if anyone has handled any of their blades, namely the Falchion or Messer. They seem to be rather light but at any rate all the pieces on the site look attractive ( I lie, they're gorgeous) and the price isn't half bad either. Thoughts? Here is a link for anyone interested.

Dang, thos are some light swords.
Unless he's developed some new sci-fi metal, then these swords probably aren't made to be used. Don't get me wrong, they look wonderful, but with so little material on them, I don't see how they could be anything but an ultra-light cutter.
Granted, I may be completely wrong and his blades can do anything that other cutters can, but until I'm proven otherwise, I wouldn't cut with em.
GREAT looking pieces tho.

They are very light, thin and flexible but exactly because of their great flexibility they are hard to bend. Of course they have to be very well heat treated but you don't have to worry about that with Ben Potter blades.
