Hi all ! Been fiddling a bit with some older knife designs of mine. I had the original ones posted on the old forum, and fined tuned them a bit. A feedback and suggestions is much appreciated having them made just to find out later i overlooked something would be quite a waste of my small funds . So without futher adoo, here we go: i838.photobucket.com/albums/zz30 ... nt_2-1.jpg i838.photobucket.com/albums/zz30 ... rent_1.jpg Feedback and criticism is much desired. Best regards tec

Hello Teclis !
I checked both designs and I like them. They have a simple, rugged charm and look, yet both seem to have small ergonomical details that would make them grippy, comfortable knives.
My two cents on that. Hope it helps !

Hi Sebastian
thanks for cross checking the design. Much appreciated. That gives me a much better feeling before i give it to the grinder.

i will post the updated pictures once i get them. doubt i will sell that anytime soon the two small ones (4,5 inch blade about) will be gifts and the slightly bigger (4,75 inch blade about) one will be my own EDC Have to tweak the handles a bit on the pair. Maybe go with some titan bolsters. tec

Hi folks
shorty update. Got the blades back from heat treating.
the larger one tests at 58-59 HRc
and the two smaller ones at 59-60 HRc
I had hoped for the mto be slighly over the 60 mark but i guess that is still okay.

A little late on this but, I'd taper the tang on the first one, it would bring the pob a little forward. I'd decrease the number of pins on the second. Both look to be very good, useable designs. Can't wait to see the final outcome.
