Hello,
Glad to now be a part of the forums. I have been reading reviews and various topics for a while, but now I can share questions and hopefully future reviews.
I started collecting swords, about 2 years ago. I started with mostly wall-hangers and moved into functional Katana. I still love the inexpensive hangers here and there, but now, with tax time approaching, I will be getting my first good/functional Medieval sword. And from there, I am thinking of starting to do some backyard cutting. There will always be a space in my heart for Fantasy, but I have always loved Medieval blades. And when there is a combination of the 2..that is a beautiful thing.
So..glad to meet everyone and hopefully make some new friends.
Rob

Hiroshi..I have been looking at the Classic Medieval Sword, the Oakeshott Type XVIII and the Valiant Armory Castile Signature Series. Depending on how much my tax return is..it may be the VA Castile.
