Link or it didn't happen...
If that's true, though, that is good news. Not that I would necessarily purchase one myself-- it's pretty but not really my thing, I understand it's a heavy beast of a sword-- but I always appreciate good art, and their version of the Conan swords are definitely a great example of what a true prop replica should really be. I do hope they replicate more swords than just the Conan and the Father's though...

And here is the link... www.filmswords.com/conan/conanmain.htm$3,300 for the Father's Sword, though?! Yikes. No offense to Albion and I'm sure the swords are worth every bit of those prices given the work that goes into them, but that's just a little high for me. Still, as someone explained on an SFI (I think?) post, owning one of these is like owning an original movie prop... something that people are willing to pay good money for. So... not my bag, but hey. Shiny!

The Arn sword is high on the 'cool' factor, and more affordable too.

They look like they are changing the way they finish the bronze. I dont like it as much as the originals. Looks to much like the Marto versions. The early ones had a nice aged look (dont have any good pics of # 20 I had for comparison)but once they got near a 100 they started to come out very dark. This is 167 and had to use a lead away cloth to remove some of the aging. Before After
