Alright... Where to start? I'll start with myself. I am fifteen, so my budget is as low as my experience. I have already fallen into the slippery pit of sword addiction, so there's not much hope there. I live in a smallish town in Southeastern Idaho. I have my own 'organization' 'club' 'thing' with my friends called GriffinKnights. I don't really have a large collection of swords (I have two with a third on the way), but it's growing. My first sword was a cheap, $50 'wallhanger' Strider's sword (from LOTR, for you poor souls who don't know). Of course, my brother and I used it to fight with (we only use blunted and unsharpened ones) and the handled literally fell off one time. The other one I own is Hanwei's practical one-handed sword meant for re-enactment. The sword I am getting is SH2106 by Hanwei.
Anyway, enough in that paragraph. I found Sword Buyers Guide while browsing for good deals on swords that a fifteen year old with no job can afford. I was lucky in my search, but that's a different story. I also found this website, which was another plus to the search. I have already read the free swordfighting manual, and found it helpful as I realised some things I was doing wrong. Anyway, I think I've said enough about myself. I look forward to getting to know some people (albiet over the internet) who are also obsessed with swords (though my obsession goes to all things medieval, I'm sure many of you are the same).
Thanks for reading the horribly boring, though short 'thing' about me. See ya around!
Oh yeah, I had one question (I think it's fine to post it here, please let me know if it's not). How do I get a profile picture and motto?
