www.gagecustomknives.com/john_ga ... knives.htm Has anyone had any dealings with this custom knife maker? He makes some pretty good looking stuff (I'm particularly interested in his tactical gladius and single handed abaddon), but the prices are a little... High.

More than a little high, I know nothing of the quality but I think you could do better for cheaper, a tactical fable blade would be my preference.

Damn, those prices nearly made my late-20ies heart stop.
I know nothing about this maker, but I agree with BloodWraith ; prices seem very high and I believe there are other, cheaper custom knives makers out there (I can give you a few links if you want).

Here goes ... Grab yourself a big serving of your favorite drink, there's a lot to browse through .... www.mineralmountain.com/knives.htmA low-priced knife maker (many of his knives cost below 200 $, and only a select few are more than 300 $). His knives have a rugged, raw charisma that I really like. www.americankami.com/about.htmlYou may have already seen this one in the old forum. His swords are very expensive (overpriced IMHO), but nearly all his knives are between 150 and 300 $, and he has some very nice, exotic looking knives. www.relentlessknives.com/index1.htmlThese are mean, badass knives. The maker claims that they are specifically made for frontline soldiers. Pricey (many are between 300 and 500 $), but some of these weapons make Cold Steel blades look like cheap 1$ paring knives. scorpionknives.com/index.htmA site I found while looking for Scorpion bows and knives/Chris website's from my job. This maker is based in the UK and makes a few traditionnal and historical blades, plus a few modern ones. I fell in love with his Fairbairn-Sykes Commando Knives. They look just like the old ones from WWII. All these knives have a classic, old school, pragmatic charm to them that I can't resist. Prices are good, below 200 $ in many cases. Hope you will like these sites. I haven't bought from any of them and I don't know anything about their products, but I hope I will one day take the plunge with each one of these.

Thanks, mate. I've seen some of Mineral Mountain before and I was quite drawn to the ring daggers.

I like some of his two-edged knives and his bowies. I may buy his Grims Brothers knife, since it is sold at a low 125 $ sale price.

John Lundemo of Odinblades also does custom knives, although most people only tend to think of Odinblades as swords. Wicked knives though with his usual artistic feel and focus on usability first and foremost. I plan on ordering a pikal knife from him one of these days!

Just keep in mind most of the knife pictures on John's site are probably around 5-10 years old. I think only that last Survival Dagger image is from the past year. Still, I'm a fan of the ol' Utility and the Aztec
