Gorgeous work as per usual, that messer really calls out to me. Of course, I'm broke flatter than a dead rat on a hot rock. But, oh what a lovely messer.

I love how you make lefthand cutlasses. +1 I wish I had the money to buy the thing now, because I would. And what are the specs on the rondel dagger? That looks sweet too.

My only issue with these fantastic pieces is the thickness of them, I mean I don't actually know how viable they would be for heavy work or even light work being so thin. How do you overcome that problem? Do you have any demonstration vids? I am really fascinated by how light they are and the fact that you make left handed blades.

Thanks for all the kind words.
What additional specs do you want on the rondel dagger?
If you look at the spec of the blades you will see that they are all around 23" long I have found that to be about the limit for these blades for the average swordsman. Also, the blades are a bit wider than the average historical blades were. There are also a couple of other very subtle changes to the geometry that add rigidity. I posted a video of the original prototype which is about half again as flexible as the blades on these pieces are. I will be doing a test video of these blades soon(Things are still a bit crazy around the shop from the holidays at the moment)
