whats happening with all the sword vendor sites its the holidays and they have no major sales or new items is it a sign of the times or just a fluke  ? |

Supply and demand. They *could* have sales-- Cold Steel does, for example, though that's not so much swords as it is their knives-- but for the most part there aren't that many people out there buying swords online. A hell of a lot of people sure would love to, I grant you, but they don't have the budget for good stuff, and most malls have stores where you can go to get your average wallhanger. Those stores *will* have sales. If you want holiday discounts on something specific, you could go to the manufacturer, but a number of sites, such as Kult of Athena for example, just have such good sub-retail prices on swords that they don't *need* to have sales-- they *are* a sale every day!  |

I have been a bit out of touch for a while, and typically Arms of Valor does run a pre-Christmas sale, but this year it did not get done.
I would be willing to bet that Arms of Valour will have a post-Christmas sale this year now that I am at least able to get my head back in the game. So, though maybe off the radar for a bit AoV will be back with a bang in the new year.
