Has anyone ever handle or owned any of their products. I am probably going to pick one or two up or I am going to buy some Green River Knife blades and make some handles. I may do both and post the results.
Please share...my sword brothers!!

Condor was the one with that super-cheap eagle-head saber...machete...thing, right? I seem to recall some good things have been said about them, but can't recall specifics. I do like that saberchetethingy, though, and have been toying with the idea of picking one up for ages.

I thought about that 'thing' too. But I am currently back into knives. I liked there their story about selling their company to the El Salvadorians and like many of their designs. I torn between the sapien, 5" bushlore with the drop point, the walnut handled bowie, or the messnuk...I was entertaining the idea of one of their machetes...probably the golok or parang. I have read the reviews on www.knifecenter.com. Many more good than bad for the price. I am still considering just spending more and getting a Boker trench knife or their version of the messnuk www.knifecenter.com/kc_new/store ... BO02BA584M. Or the stag handle. Still I thank you for your reply. If anyone knows more please share. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all. Patrick

Hello Pat
I don't know how much you want to spend, but at this price point and with those comments, I wouldn't hesitate to take the plunge. Also, I don't know if you ever bought anything from knifecenter.com, but IMHO, they are one of the best knife seller on the net. Very good customer service, low prices, quick and efficient shipping .

Thanks guys...I have never bought from KC but they have one of the best sites with great descriptions. I have also never even heard of Condor KT but they look great...probably going to buy two Condor KT instead of one Boker.
I feel much better having feedback from the forum. I can't wait to chop some stuff.

Thanks for the info... I believe I will get the book...I like to look at knives, draw knives' design, use knives, sharpen knives, carry knives, and I have made a few...all very bad...one day after my apartment life has ended I am going to forge in earnest.
I have narrow my choices to the Golok, the Nessmuk, and the 4-5/16" Bushlore (it has a drop point in the center line). I considered the Sapien for its simplicity and ergonomic handle and more universally applicable design. But I thought the Bushlore looked cooler...plus a center line point is good for stabbing and throwing.
The was also a kind ax shaped skinner but it had a black rubber handle or plastic...I like the walnut or wooden handles...I usually burn in my mark.
And I am going to use knifecenter...cool place...I love it!!
