Looking for a SECURE display case

I currently have 3 sharpened swords and am looking for a way to display them (and any new ones I may acquire) in a good looking and most importantly SAFE and SECURE manner.
I have considered making individual display cases, though this would be time consuming and not really something I would enjoy doing.
I have looked at lockable guitar display cases but they are generally limited to 44 or so inches which is too short (I need 50" inside height) and too costly to buy multiples.
All of the sword display cases I have found online are for individual military swords and are too small, plus buying multiple individual cases would again be very costly.
The best thing I have been able to come up with is a lockable 10 or 20 gun display cabinet. They can have an inside height of 50", are lockable, and look good. I don't know how well swords would fit into them though given that they are designed for rifle's and shotguns. The locks are kind of cheesy though so I would add an additional sturdier lock to the door.
Has anyone used a gun display case that can comment or have any other good suggestions? I don't mind spending a few bucks but would like to keep the cost below $300.
I need a way to display them in my office (mainly for my own personal pleasure) while at the same time making sure they are unreachable by those who don't understand how dangerous they are when handled carelessly. I spend about 10 days a month on the road and I need to be able to know that while I'm gone fiddling fingers won't become missing fingers...or worse.
The only truly secure thing I have found would be a gun safe and I don't want to lock them away in the dark...
Thanks in advance for any input
