Different Types of Chinese Sword?

Hello,
Just wondering if there was anywhere on the Internet-- or even here-- where there's a directory or index of the different styles of jian and dao made in China, with dating for each type? Wikipedia is not particularly a resource I want to trust.
As to why... I want to broaden my knowledge! Chinese swords are, to me, more interesting than Japanese at this point. The Japanese were pretty static once they established the overall katana form-- they didn't change that for centuries, but the Chinese, IIRC, created a number of different forms at different times.
