Good evening to all, long time lurker, decided now that I have more time I would join and enjoy the discussions. First things first I guess, I am not really new to swords, my preference as will be with most of you is the katana, but I do love my bo staff. I was given as a gift a few years back a differentially hardened Ryumon katana and a matching iaito by a now ex lady of mine. It has seen a fair bit of use (most under training and supervision) and that got me hooked. I also own a cheness Ayame for the lovely shobu zukuri tip, I must admit they are tough swords. Most recently and I mean recently as in yesterday lol, I took delivery of the new Lion Dog by hanwei. May get around to posting some pics of it, I found very few reviews on it before I bought it so would be handy to get another one up. Got to love that wild hamon and the quality of the same, large nodes are always a plus. But unfortunately till the ground unfreezes or dries up I wont be getting much cutting in. Anyhow I digress, I hope to enjoy the forum Joe
