Some tips.
You're feet are static and you're cutting with you arms, half heartedly swinging your body.
Take a good firm stand, lowering yourself allows you more power, IMO. Don't just use your arm and try not to simply twist as the waist. Step out with your leading leg to give you initial momentum, use your arm and shoulder for more power and use the stepping out in part one to twist your hips and give your body even more strength.
Sounds simple but it's harder than it sounds.

(rib, friendly rib) Ric: Looked like some rapid fire cuts. Nice pickle chip on the big milk jug too. Look forward to plenty more from you. ;D

Lol, I am blessed with decent cutting form. It's something that didn't take any learning from me and I'm very happy that I have it.
That said, I'm not an expert, just a backyard cutter. My advice should be taken accordingly. Also, remember that a gladius was used with a shield, so practicing with the strong arm (rght, in your case) towards the rear may be benificial. In this case, Tsafa could help you with basic cutting.

Hey Ric. Thanks for sharing. Karma for being brave enough to share, even though they weren't show off cuts. My advice, since you're asking: I'm no expert either but after watching your video a couple of times this is what I see. You are doing your line up half cuts with a down ward angle and angling the blade downward which is good. However when it comes time to slice you are still angling the blade slightly down yet you cut more across (i.e. the blade is not on the same plane as the cut) I think the problem lies in fear of hitting your cutting stand. Because of that you are cutting across to clear it in stead of following through downward - if you followed through downward you'd hit it. I think your base is too wide. If you had a base no wider that the target then you would be happier to follow through downwardly. I have a pine pole which I can tie a cylinder to, rest a bottle on etc. But when I want a wider base I rest a chip board board on it. As you can see below I'll be able to go on a fairly steep downward angle and not hit the base. Best wished with your practice - it feel so good when it goes well.

Thanks, brenno, I'll see what I can come up with for a smaller base.
Ram, are you suggesting I use my left hand to cut? No wait I get you, lead with my left. yup.
I tried some of your suggestions, guys. I'm getting better.

IDK...
this is what I mean: Either mime a shield in your left or actually get one. Then put your left side forward with your sword side (right) to the rear.

IDK = I don't know
Lets see your new stance. Tsafa would be better at explaining a good sield stance than I am, but I'll try.
