Hello all: my name is Lou and I, as many, have been a lurker for a while (1 year). I have had an interest in small arms and military history for many years (especially since Vietnam-macVsog, CCC, Nha Trang, just LT, never made it to dai uy). I live in Las Vegas, NV. My firearms collection is around 100 (if it is legal federally, it is legal here), knives around 150, axes, spears, maces, etc ?? and swords, which are my newest and VERY addictive collection, are now at 68. I find katanas particularly interesting because of the huge variety. I want to thank so many of you for all I have learned about swords and their proper use on this forum. As my skills with the sword and the computer improve (Lord willing), I hope to be able to contribute to others in return.

Thank you Sebastien (the man of the deep voice, I believe), I hope to share much as I get more comfortable posting my thoughts and experience. For a while longer I expect to mainly defer to the more computer savvy forumites, such as yourself.

Thank you Ric Willy. I notice that you and Sebastien make a point of coming to this section and quickly greeting every new member. That is a touch of class, and greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all those kind enough to welcome me. Jim, I just happened to read your Sept. post of the Henry V speech. My favorite also; the portion you highlighted most particularly. It is unfortunate that the final portion no longer seems to hold true, cowards are no longer ashamed. A special greeting to fellow warriors. HOOAH!
