I have had this sword for about a month. It , like my other Musashi swords ,was not a disappointment. It is a really nice sword that fits as an extension of my arm.I like the cut out Tsuba for it lightens the sword to where it won`t tire your arm out.
Here are the specs:
Overall Length: 41 in
Blade Length: 28 in
Handle Length: 10 3/4 in
Tsuba Material: Copper
Blade Material: High Carbon Steel, tempered edge
Handle Material: Hardwood with Nylon cord wrap
Meaningful engraved blade that is impressive alone.
It comes with a black cotton sword storage/carry bag
I purchased it from True Swords , whom I would like to thank for the fast service and shipping.
I am trying to go up in price from this $59.99 sword, but I am having a problem getting away from Musashi swords. They are great for the price. I will get some other Musashi swords a bit higher in price.
I am having this sword modified a bit, though there isn`t anything wrong with it as it is. Once I receive my sword back ,I will post it in the appropriate place on the forum.

Certified, i have that sword also & it is nice. if you are wanting to go up in price a little i believe masahiro has come out with a last samurai that is more authentic to the film and is about double the $. I'm considering it myself.

Sorry I`m late responding here, I didn`t have my bookmarks activated ( Didn`t activate them for I thought the bookmarks was done automatically, I didn`t realize you needed to do it from the bookmark section.) titan3074
I haven`t cut with it as of yet, I bought a second one with a red saya.I will buy another in black and try some cutting with that one. The etching is not acid etched, but rather etched in. yukalouie and kimlan2 ,
I have seen pictures of the Masahiro sword and it is a little different from what I can tell. The Tsuba is a different style, but I like it.I will need to get one to add to the collection.
Thanks for the heads up , I might have missed the Masahiro sword for I do not normally look at the Masahiro line. You can see mine customized if you haven`t seen it here: /index.cgi?board=swordcustom&action=display&thread=1189719902 Again I`m sorry for the late response.
