Ladies and Gentlemen,
I was just wondering if anyone has one of these or has handled one? I am reasonably sure that they are discontinued but I found a couple that are available in Australia and I was just wondering if they are worth it? I've always wanted a good quality Schiavona but have never been able to find one.
Any advice is appreciated

hey, i still have mine, which I antiqued out some time ago. If you can pull up the old forum, I posted a review there. The Windlass Schiavona isn't a lively handling sword. The blade is very stiff and a bit tip heavy even with the basket hilt. I got mine because I wanted a Schiavona represented in my collection and as a companion to my mortuary's. There is also a review on myArmoury that Bill Grandy did a long time ago. right now Del-Tin or Armour Class make only repro / semi-custom's of this style.
