I've checked the sharpening videos in the helpful article section and noticed that it only dealt with katana blades with bo-hi. It didn't mention if it could be adapted to suit blades with no-hi (no groove) since it appeared to use the bo-hi as a means to tell where to use sandpaper for sharpening. Just sdjust the angle slightly or is there another dimension to sharpening blades with no-hi that I am unaware of?

I generally consider the bottom of the bohi to be the shinogi and just like you want to stay off the bohi edges so as not to round them out you want to stay off the shinogi so as not to round it out. just do everything the same as you would for a blade with bohi just treat the shinogi like it is the bottom of the bohi. I may have to do an update to me tutorials, I thought I had covered this. hmmmm well can't review them until I get home. anyway it should be no more difficult to sharpen your nohi. I think no-hi blades are easier actually. if you want to look at my tutorials I have a link in my sig.
hope this helps. have questions? please ask.
