Since Jason's reviews, I must admit that my interest in Darksword has grown considerably.
The only thing I can fault them on so far is the fact that they are a bit on the overbuilt/heavy side - but the balance goes a long way to compensate for it (i.e. , they aren't 'crowbars').
Some models also seem lighter and faster than others - and the reviews so far have been of two handed and hand and a half swords.
Definitely an interesting manufacturer though, who have tended to get the short end of the stick on some other forums.

The photos I've seen look a little... 'roughly' ground and assembled. Are they very durable? i.e. is the heat treat and temper suited for the heavy cutting their bulk would lend it's self to?

Hello` Thanks to Paul he let me post my reviews of the swords. The Templar is bigger than the Boromir, but it flows very well with the swings.. These two swords are heavy.. They would be great for sword fighting and not sharpening the blades. But the edges ar holding up very well. Brenno I`d say they are very durable. after cuting some heavy bottles the fittings are still tight.. The Templar seems very tight.. They have lighter swords also.. I`ll be testing one very soon.I`ll send the review to The Great Paul..thanks all.. Jason woodard

I like their designs very much. They look nice.
It would be nice if they functioned properly as well. A review would interest me somewhat...
