Recieved the sword in the mail today, the fittings, grind quality, blade, etc are everything i could have hoped for, especially at the price point..hell at twice the price point...The edge geometry is also very good and ground down to an appleseed edge, although the sword isn't actually"sharp" i.e. cuts paper or skin..i do have one complaint about this sword, but if i had to pick one area where the quality could lapse a little, i'd pick the scabbard and the scabbard does leave a lot to be desired even at this price point($US 140 from KOA) it appears to be made of a layer of plastic, on a layer of fiberboard, with leather over the top..interestingly enough the throat and chape are pretty good..here's some pics..the scabbard weighs next to nothing and makes a cosmetically nice blade cover though.

I have one of these. It's a good little sword. Good balance, good construction, good design.
One edge rolled while swinging against my pell.
