Blade crazy !
God that is beautiful. Also, got enough spotlights? Lol. BTW, what is your opinion on the Magnum Kukri Machete? Personally it's my go to blade in case of zombies, but I'm kind of curious what someone else thinks.
Haha ! I've gone flashlight crazy as well, just got a couple new Fenix lights! I love the Magnum Kukri. I've reprofiled and sharpened all but the 21" Latin. I just wish they were all a bit thicker. That new Gladius machete should be good for " zombies " as well ! Kukri blade shape is great for cutting organic type objects and the extra lenght of the Mgnum makes it even better.

You got me there ! I'm starting to ease off the CS stuff though, too many AUS8A blades and customer complaints. Most of mine have been awesome knives for the money. I really like how CS has a good selection of blades in every price level.

As I live in Australia, have to be careful what customs will let you get in, so I buy my knives from local bladesmiths no customs, these are from "Red Croc" one is the Bushido 330mm OAL and the other is a hunter 300mm OAL.

I've heard it can be tough to get some products there. That's too bad. Those look cool though, nice handles, what are they made from ?

Welp, here's my humble knife collection. Sorry some of them are a bit dirty. Lol. Left to right we have, Frost Cutlery Fantasy Bowie thing, KA-BAR US Army Fighting Knife with Hedgehog Leather Works sheath above, some OLD Craftsman skinner/scalper knife, Hanwei small Seax with an ugly redone handle. Spyderco Endura 4, Ontario RAT-1, Kershaw Blur, Spyderco Delica 4 FFG since lost and replaced with the same but brown handles, KA-BAR Warthog. Spyderco Delica 4 FFG, KA-BAR Warthog, Sheffield Liner Lock, Leatehrman C33 Crater, Buck Vantage Select small, Gerber Ripstop I, Victorinox Tinker. Hanwei Seax before the handle broke. Really shoddy construction, totally hollow held together with epoxy. :/ Ontario RAT-3. Bradley Cutlery Kimura Balisong. Mora Carbon Clipper Old Buck Bucklite Leatherman Wave Multi-tool

Yeah, I don't buy show pieces. Almost all of my knives have had a run as my EDC blade, or been used while camping/hiking. The exceptions are a couple of cheapy folders that I decided I didn't like once I had them in hand, and that fantasy bowie thing. It's a cool looking knife, but it's an unknown stainless steel and it was a gift. There are a couple there that were wicked old and beat up when I got them. Namely the Craftsman scalper and the Buck Bucklite. Still very usable, both of them, but they were already pretty old when I got them like 6-7 years ago.
Also, those are some beautiful blades you have there dude. Love the color of the handles.

anyone have a timber rattler bowie? Waiting for the outlaw model to come in the mail (bought it to customize it -too much antler lying around). It seems to get good reviews for such a cheapo blade and it seems to hold up well with the beatings that people put it through.
I dunno though..a 11 3/8" blade is ridiculous and I'm surprised the stainless steel hasn't failed on someone yet.
I have a feeling this "knife" is totally fubar and will just make me giggle. shrug*
yay chuckles! I got bayos 3 and 5. I use the swiss dress one as a backscratcher actually and the chrome holds up well.

I don't know anything particular about this model, beside that it is a Boker model (and I am not even sure about that). That blade looks made for wicked jabs and that grip looks very sturdy.

[/img]
I've never seen or heard of it before. I'm usually a fan of weird blade shapes, but that one just isn't doing it for me. I also have a deep seated hatred for finger grooves cause they NEVER line up right in my hands.

I have seen it before, in passing, and I just thought the blade shape was a little, well, ugly, to be frank. And I only like finger grooves if they're on a hilt made for my hand (in other words, I hate 'em, too).
